- ASIP's Sixth Moot Court Competition Concludes in Jordan
Selina Al Ma’asher, Heba Shraideh, Farah Kherfan, Razan Al Husban, Dina Al Omoush and Banan Al Biari won the competition at its Sixth Edition and received JD100 each
AMMAN --- May 19, 2010 --- The Sixth Intellectual Property Moot Court Competition, organized by the Arab Society for Intellectual Property (ASIP) and the University of Jordan (UJ), concluded on May 13, 2010 at the Faculty of Law.
According to Mr. Motasem Dmour, ASIP executive director "We are really thrilled to see and for the first time in the history of this competition, both teams as winners."
"This shows the level of professionalism and skills both teams have," he added.
Selina Al Ma’asher, Heba Shraideh, Farah Kherfan, Razan Al Husban, Dina Al Omoush and Banan Al Biari won the competition at its Sixth Edition and received JD100 each.
The participating students emphasized that the Moot Court enhanced their personal and professional skills and increased their confidence whilst making public presentations.
In September of 2004, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between ASIP and the UJ to organize the Moot Court competition on IP topics among law students at Jordanian universities.
