ASIP Holds “IPRs Protection against Infringement” Course

AMMAN - The Arab Society for Intellectual Property (ASIP) has recently held a training course entitled "Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) Protection against Infringement", at Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University College for Innovation (TAGUCI) headquarters– Amman.

Over the 12 training hours, participants were introduced to the following main topics:
-The Concept of Intellectual Property Rights 
-Types of Intellectual Property Rights
-Distinction between Industrial Intellectual Property, and Literary and Artistic Property
-Artistic Works 
-Computer Programs and Databases 
-International Treaties that Regulate the Protection of Intellectual Property Rights over the Internet
-Means of Technological and Legal Protection of Intellectual Property against Violations 
-Alternative Solutions for Intellectual Property Rights Disputes 
At the end of the training course, certificates of attendance issued by the Society were given to participants.
