ASIP translates the WIPO's NICE Classification - 9th edition
ASIP translated WIPO’s NICE Classification-9th Edition. NICE Classification is a classification guide for registering Trademarks of goods and services according to an agreement signed in NICE Diplomatic Conference on June 15, 1957. ASIP translated NICE Classification from English to Arabic and the copy was accredited by WIPO.
NICE Classification is mandatory for national Trademark Registration at participating countries. The Classification is also mandatory for Trademarks issuance through WIPO's International Office, African Intellectual Property Organization (OAPI), African Regional Intellectual Property Organization (ARIPO), and the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHIM). International Trademarks Registration in the NICE Classification is in accordance with Madrid Agreement and its protocol.
